The area of ​​responsibility in immunohematology includes blood group determination as well as compatibility tests for blood and organ transplants .

In the field of immunology, among other things, antigens and antibodies are detected, and in the field of molecular biology, determinations are carried out on the DNA / RNA level.

Functional diagnostics deals with examinations in the field of electro-neuro and cardiopulmonary functional diagnostics (EEG, EKG, lung function).
