Birgit Schanzen

Birgit Schanzen (* 1958 ) is a German journalist and television presenter .

From 1991 she moderated the magazine Rund um den Michel in the program of NDR television (N3) . She was also the presenter of the Hamburger Journal and People Make Dresses . Currently (as of 2020) she is head of the series and entertainment department at NDR.

On May 20, 1997 she married the journalist Ulrich Wickert . The marriage ended in divorce after a year and remained childless.
