content

At the age of eleven, students Shintaro Nakamura, Tsubaki Toyoshima, Ryu Nimaido, Akira Kanzaki and Haruka Nagase killed a man. They buried his body on a mountain and have met annually ever since to swear silence to one another about the crime and to check how the body has decomposed. Five years later, only the skeleton remains. Many of the five classmates wonder why the so different young people are often together. Akira and Tsubaki are intelligent and popular high school students, Ryu is a notorious thug, and Haruka knows a lot of mean tricks. The inconspicuous Shintaro doesn't fit into the group and so he is the first to be asked why he is meeting the others. After he can still talk his way out, Shintaro and the others have to find out that the remains of their victim have disappeared. A blackmailer contacts them and demands that they help him dismantle a corpse. They accept the demand, but get themselves into increasing difficulties and the cohesion in the group is put to the test.
