The Biscuit step is next to the pemmican Step one of the two stages in the course of Tucker Glacier in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It lies above the confluence of the Trafalgar Glacier in the Victory Mountains . The northern half is crossed by crevasses , while the southern half offers a comfortable ascent route.
Named it after the hard biscuits (English biscuits ) that the food rations for participants in the 1957 lasting until 1958 campaign of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition belonged and which had been dumped at this point.
