Bisou ( French for 'kisses') was a three-headed German girl group that was put together by the German-Tunisian rapper Bushido in early 2007 from three retired finalists of the fifth season of the casting show Popstars . In contrast to the band Monrose , which emerged from the show , the producers of Bisou rely on German-language texts written by Bushido and Philippe Heithier , among others .

Career

The group was officially presented to the public as part of the 41st edition of The Dome on March 2, 2007, where Bisou also performed live for the first time. The first tear , the first single from the debut album Hier und Jetzt , which was released a week later , was released on March 23, 2007 on Bushido's label ersguterjunge . With the sun rises first appeared on 26 October 2007, the second single, which could but did not place in the charts.

The band members took part in television projects, such as Michieva on We are Family , where she got engaged to her boyfriend, and the entire band in a role reversal on Sat 1.

In 2008, Bisou separated. Today the group members are traveling solo, Neuwert released an EP in 2009 , Michieva took part in the preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in her home country Azerbaijan , but was eliminated in the semi-finals.
