Diocese of Dax
The Diocese of Dax ( lat. : Dioecesis Aquae Augustae ) was one in France situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Dax .
history
The diocese of Dax was established in the 5th century. First Bishop was Vincent .
On November 29, 1801, the Diocese of Dax was dissolved as a result of the Concordat of 1801 by Pope Pius VII with the Papal Bull Qui Christi Domini and the territory was incorporated into the Diocese of Aire .
The diocese of Dax was also subordinate to the archdiocese as a suffragan .
