Diocese of Espoo
The diocese of Espoo (Finnish: Espoon Hiippakunta ) is one of nine dioceses of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland , based in Espoo . It includes the Finnish-speaking parishes in western Uusimaa .
The diocese was only founded in 2004. It was created through a division of the Helsinki diocese . Mikko Heikka became the first bishop of the diocese . The cathedral of the diocese is Espoo Cathedral .
