Diocese of Segni

The diocese of Segni was a Roman Catholic diocese in Italy with its seat in Segni , which existed from the 5th century. It opened in 1986 in the suburbicarian diocese of Velletri-Segni .

The Segni diocese was established in the 5th century.

On October 20, 1981, Pope John Paul II united the diocese of Segni aeque principaliter with the diocese of Velletri under the name "Velletri und Segni". The final merger of the two dioceses took place on September 30, 1986.

Most recently, the diocese had 50,035 Catholics out of a population of 50,170.
