Tolentino bishopric
The Diocese of Tolentino ( lat. : Dioecesis Tolentina ) was one in Italy located Roman Catholic diocese based in Tolentino .
history
The Tolentino diocese was established in the 5th century as The first bishop was Basil of Tolentino .
On December 10, 1586, the diocese of Tolentino was incorporated into the diocese of Macerata by Pope Sixtus V with the papal bull Super universas .
The Cathedral of San Catervo in Tolentino was the cathedral of the Tolentino diocese.
