music

The recordings took place in the Leijione studio, while the mixing and mastering took place in Sikkeria Berlin. The beats were made by Majusbeats (songs 1, 6, 8, 11 and 15), Forbiddan (2, 7 and 14), and Beat 2.0 (3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 12, 13). The guitar on the title track was played by Boris Wiese, the bass on Purpleize Hiphop by Stephan Pfaff.

Texts

As on the artist's previous albums, the lyrics can be assigned to Conscious Rap . Many tracks refer directly or indirectly to tracks from their previous album Quing . The title piece represents a call against homophobia, a topic that was already taken up in Pro Homo . Bitches Butches Dykes & Divas had already served as the hymn for the slutwalks that had taken place in several German cities in the summer. On this occasion, the song was published on the Internet in August. Siebenmeilenhighheels stands opposite the title after the seven-mile sneakers on Quing and addresses being in love and (queer) lesbian identity using the example of femme . Learning process II takes up the criticism of the second studio album and exercises self-criticism on individual pieces - especially Milady. Already on Quing she practiced the same learning process with some songs on the debut album Kopf Herz Arsch . With the song DRAG (dressed as any gender) she plays with the expression drag, which originally comes from English and can be called disguise or costume.

reception

The album received mostly good reviews. laut.de attested that it had an intellectual claim and assumed that it would cause irritation, as Sookee “uncompromisingly run over the heap of entrenched points of view in the scene” . In addition, she "forms a counterbalance to the unrestrained mindlessness with which one is confronted every day, with her lines the nails hit the heads by the dozen" . She has her lyrics "easily under control" and, unlike many other colleagues, she has "rap technique" . On the other hand, it was criticized that the lecture was not very varied and, moreover, “quite monotonous” .
