The Bivouac de l'Aiguillette à la Singla also Singlabiwak is a refuge of the Swiss Alpine Club section Chasseron in the Valais Alps in the canton of Valais in Switzerland .
Location and operation
The bivouac is below the L'Aiguillete ( 3198 m above sea level ) and above the Otemma glacier at 3179 m above sea level. M. , near the Italian border. It is operated by the Chasseron section of the Swiss Alpine Club and is not manned.
history
The bivouac, built in 1970 in a lonely glacier world, is not manned, has cooking facilities, no light and no mobile network reception. The bivouac is an alternative accommodation on the Valais Haute Route .

- from the Chanrionhütte (normal route) in 3 ½ hours, 894 meters in altitude, difficulty level L.
- from the Vignetteshütte in 2 ½ hours, 365 vertical meters, difficulty level L.
