Bjäresjö is a village ( småort ) in the Swedish province of Skåne län and the historical province (landskap) of Skåne . The village is located about 5 km northwest of Ystad in the municipality of Ystad . In 2015 it had 90 inhabitants.
In the center of Bjäresjö is the 12th century church of St. Laurentius with numerous medieval frescoes. Bjaresjö Castle ( Swedish Bjärsjöholms Slott ) is located southeast of the village .
