Björn Leví Gunnarsson

Björn Leví Gunnarsson (born June 1, 1976 in Reykjavík ) is an Icelandic computer scientist and politician of the Píratar .

Björn Leví holds a Masters in Computer Science from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts . Among other things, he worked as a system administrator , from 2006 to 2008 in quality control at CCP Games and most recently as a software specialist at the Icelandic Education Directorate ( Menntamálastofnun ) and at the examination office ( Námsmatsstofnun ).

In the parliamentary elections on October 29, 2016 , Björn Leví Gunnarsson was elected as the Píratar candidate for the constituency of Reykjavík-Nord in the Icelandic parliament Althing . As of autumn 2019, he is a member of Parliament's Committee on Budgets and is a member of the Icelandic delegation to the Conference of Parliamentarians of the Arctic Region. He was chairman of the Píratar for the 2018–19 period.
