Bjarne Lennart Andersson (born April 28, 1940 in Motala , † August 12, 2004 in Mora ) was a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Andersson, who started for the IFK Mora , finished fourth in 1964 and second in the Wasalauf the following year . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 1966 , he finished over 15 km and came fourth with the relay. In the same year he won the 30 km run at the Svenska Skidspelen . Two years later, he won the silver medal with the relay at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble and finished sixth over 15 km. Also in 1968 he came fourth in the Wasalauf. Three years later he finished second in the Wasalauf. In Swedish championships he won in 1966 over 30 km and 1968 km above the 15th He was also eight times champion with the relay (1963, 1966, 1968-1973). After his active career from 1976 to 1980 he was the head coach of the Swedish national team.
