The Black Bluff is a cliff made of black basalt at the southern end of Daniell Peninsula at the Borchgrevink Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises on the south side of Mount Lubbock .
Scientists in a campaign from 1957 to 1958 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named it after its color.
