Black Ingvars
Black Ingvars is a Swedish fun metal band. It was founded in 1995 and combines classic heavy metal elements with the sound of dansband songs and well-known children's songs. The lyrics of the Black Ingvars are Swedish, the melodies of their songs often come from well-known role models, such as ABBA ("Waterloo") or the theme song of the well-known TV series Pippi Longstocking . In the meantime 800,000 albums have been sold in Sweden and the band has also gained fame in several other European countries.
Black Ingvars, translated black Ingvars , is a reference to the well-known Dansband Sven-Ingvars in Sweden .
