The Black Pudding Peak ( German blood pudding summit ) is an isolated, black rocky mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 3 km northwest of Mount Brøgger in the Prince Albert Mountains .
The New Zealand Northern Group of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) named it descriptively in 1957 in connection with its dark color after its clumsy-looking shape.
