Black Ridge (English for Black Mountain Ridge ) is a striking, 11 km long and 1500 m high mountain ridge in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It looms in the Deep Freeze Range and forms the watershed between Priestley and Corner Glaciers .
The northern group of the British Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) explored the ridge for the first time and named it descriptively after its appearance.
