Black River is a Polish stoner rock band from Warsaw that was formed in 2008.

history

The band was formed in 2008. In May of the same year, the self-titled debut album followed via Mystic Production . The release was followed by appearances all over Poland, as well as various tours. The second album Black'n'Roll followed in September 2009 . The release was followed by a tour with Behemoth .

style

In Black River, the members try to play songs that they cannot achieve in other bands such as Dimmu Borgir , Behemoth, Vesania and Rootwater . According to Frank Thiessies from Metal Hammer, the band plays on Black'n'Roll Stoner Rock, which he described as a “ monster magnet in the Danzig sound”. On songs like Lucky in Hell , the band also reminds us of Alice in Chains .
