Black Widow ( English for: "Black Widow") is the fifth studio album by the metal band In This Moment . It was released on November 17, 2014 and is their first release on Atlantic Records.

In an interview with Billboard, Chris Howorth said that the new album, like Blood, will comment on the band's newly discovered sound: "We feel like we've found something and are bringing the flag up on the hill."
After signing with Atlantic, Maria claimed that she and the rest of the band would be thrilled to get their next album out on the label. She also claimed that Atlantic had released some of the greatest and most revered albums of all time.
About the album
Maria Brink said that the album's title is a metaphor for positive and negative life experiences, turning weakness into strength. She said, “This innocent young girl who is infected with life, trauma, experiences and the balance of light and dark. She becomes this balanced and powerful creature. "
