Giovanni Cesare Majoni

Giovanni Cesare Majoni (born May 30, 1876 in Borgomanero , † July 18, 1969 in Rome ) was an Italian diplomat .

Education

In 1898 he joined the University of Turin to study law from.

Career

In 1899 he joined the foreign service. He was employed at the consulates general in Cairo , Thessaloniki , Constantinople , Nice , Cannes , Zurich , Philadelphia and Moscow . In 1919 he became a councilor and was employed in the political department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 1920 to 1922 he was Consul General in Munich . In 1923 he was consul general in Helsinki . From 1924 to 1928 he was envoy extraordinary and ministre plénipotentiaire in Warsaw . In 1929 he was president of the Agenzia nazionale italiana del turismo . From 1929 to the end of 1932 he was ambassador to Tokyo . On November 16, 1933 Viktor Emanuel III appointed him . as a member of the Senato del Regno .
