The Blackwelder Glacier is a Kar glacier between Salmon Hill and the Hobbs Glacier in East Antarctic Victoria Land .
It was examined by the American glaciologist Troy L. Péwé (1918-1999) from Arizona State University in Operation Deep Freeze (1957-1958) and named after Eliot Blackwelder (1880-1969), former head of the geological faculty at Stanford University .
