Blanka of Navarre (* after 1133; † August 12, 1156 ) was a princess of Navarre .

Blanka was the daughter of García IV and Marguerite de l'Aigle. On February 4, 1151 she married Sancho III. , son of Alfonso VII , King of Castile and León . The two had several children who died again shortly after birth. Only one son, Alfonso VIII , born on November 11th, 1155 , survived.

Since Spanish queens traditionally confirmed all royal documents, their lives are well documented from their marriage in 1151. But from the birth of her son to her death on August 12, 1156, there are no more records of her. She was buried in the monastery of Santa Maria la Real in Nájera . In the grave inscription on her sarcophagus , the birth of Alfons is given as the reason for her death, but the long period of 9 months between birth and death leaves room for speculation that she only died as a result of another miscarriage.
