history
The association was founded on June 29, 1907. For decades the blue-whites played on a local level before the doctor Peter Heuschen took over the chairmanship of the club in 1969. After three ascents in a row, the team reached the Association League Middle Rhine in 1977 . The club has been compared in the press with SV Alsenborn , which achieved a similarly rapid upswing in the 1960s. As table eight in the association league season 1977/78 succeeded in qualifying for the newly created Oberliga Nordrhein.
From this, blue-white rose again as third last . After the runner-up in the association league in 1981 behind the amateurs of Bayer 04 Leverkusen , relegation to the state league followed a year later. In 1990 it even went back to the district league. Five years later, the rise was successful before the club got into major financial difficulties. There followed three relegations in a row and the cancellations from the game operations in 1998 and 2001. In 2002, a team was reported again, which reached promotion to the district B eight years later. Since the immediate relegation, blue-white has played in the district league C. The club last provided a team in the 2012/13 season.
The club took part in the DFB Cup twice. In the 1976/77 season , the team retired in the first round against Spandauer SV after a 1: 3 home defeat. In the second participation in the 1980/81 season , the blue-whites met Prussia Münster , which could only prevail in extra time with 4: 1.
