Rothemühl church

The Rothemühl Church is a listed church building in Rothemühl in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district . It belongs to the parish Ferdinandshof in the Pasewalk provost of the Pomeranian parish of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in northern Germany .

The church in Rothemühl was built in 1879 as an emergency church. It is a rectangular brick building with two stepped gables . Side walls and gables are structured with pilaster strips . The windows of the four-axis building have pointed arches .

The ringing in the free-standing iron bell cage consists of two bells. Another bell with the inscription "Rothemühle: 1804" is placed in front of the south wall of the church.

There are several listed grave sites with cast and wrought iron grave bars in the cemetery. The grave monument for the forest worker Johann Werner Lücke († 1789) is made of sandstone and shows a vase decorated with garlands on a curved base. The pedagogue and local researcher Otto Bruchwitz (1877-1956) was buried in the cemetery.
