Pyromorphite
A special pseudomorphism from galena to pyromorphite is called blue bleeding ore .
The galena initially changes into pyromorphite through oxidation . Then it is rejuvenated to form galena while maintaining the crystal form of pyromorphite. An important site of this pseudomorphism was the Kautenbach mine near Bernkastel-Kues in Rhineland-Palatinate .
