Lightning & Thunder is the third studio album from Matt Roehr . It was released on August 19, 2011 on the Gonzo Music Records label. The album is distributed by Soulfood .
Music style and content
The songs on the album are mostly rock-like, only the title thought police and sparkling wine or seltzer are kept calm.

The album entered the German charts at number 17 in the 35th calendar week and stayed there for a week. As a single, the title Freiheit was released in advance , for which Matt Roehr also wrote an English version. The single is only available as a download. The English version is not included on the album.
