Lightning vinyl

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lightning vinyl was a German hip-hop - label . It was already started in 1991 in Cologne by the Rick brothers (aka Rick Ski and Future Rock), Daniel Sluga (aka Fader Gladiator ), Volkmar Lange (aka Imperator), Robert Möller (aka D-Tex Law) and Michael Bogdanis (aka Bogameister) and is therefore one of the first German independent labels to specialize exclusively in hip-hop.

The records of the hip-hop collaboration Blitz Mob were released on Blitz Vinyl , as well as editions of the artists STF , CUS , LSD (band) , Äi-Tiem , First Down and KAOS . The label existed until mid-1996.

Fader Gladiator and Def Benski Obiwahn (Benjamin Hartung from Äi-Tiem) were later successful as members of Die Firma . Robert Möller co-founded Team ProMotion in 1993, a Düsseldorf agency for sports and youth marketing, and is its managing director to this day.
