The Blizzard Heights are an elongated, flattened plateau in the East Antarctic Ross Dependency that protrudes 550 m above the surrounding icy terrain . In the Marshall Mountains , the 3 km long formation lies 3 km northwest of Blizzard Peak , from which it is separated by a snow-covered saddle .
Members of a team from Ohio State University who explored the Queen Alexandra chain between 1966 and 1967 named the ridges after their proximity to Blizzard Peak.
