Bloober Team SA is a Polish development studio for video games based in Krakow . Founded in November 2008 by Peter Babieno and Peter Bielatowicz, the company is known for Layers of Fear , Observer and Layers of Fear 2 . history
Bloober Team was founded by Peter Babieno and Peter Bielatowicz. The studio officially opened on November 6, 2008. Babieno became the company's chief executive officer .
One of the turning points in Bloober Team's history was the creation of Basement Crawl . After the bad reviews of the game, Bloober Team revised the game, the core game concept was reused and new graphics, new game mechanics, a new story and new game modes were added. The new title Brawl was offered as a free download to the owners of Basement Crawl .
On January 10, 2018, Bloober Team received the Paszport Polityki Award in the "Digital Culture" category. A new project, codenamed Project Méliès, was announced on March 8, 2018. In October 2018, Layers of Fear 2 (formerly Project Méliès) was announced, due to be released by Gun Media in 2019 .
