Blood Money was an English NWoBHM and thrash metal band from Manchester , which was formed in 1984 and split up in 1987.
history
The band was formed in 1984 by singer Danny Foxx, guitarist Gramie Dee, bassist Dale Lee and drummer Brett Avok. After a first demo was produced, the debut album Red, Raw and Bleeding followed in 1986 via Ebony Records ! . The second album was released in 1987 under the name Battlescarred , before the group split up. After the band broke up, Danny Foxx formed the band Bison together with guitarist Dave Kelly. Then Danny Foxx founded the band Foxx, which would later be renamed Zionoiz and then Sacrasanct. Foxx then suffered a motorcycle accident that should put him in a two-week coma, from which he was able to recover. Then he joined the band China Beach . He was also in discussion for the singer's post at Iron Maiden , which Blaze Bayley should ultimately achieve.

The band played metal, which was based heavily on the works of their fellow countrymen from Venom .
