The Blyth Spur is a 620 m high rock spur on the West Antarctic James Ross Island . It extends from the Dobson Dome in an east-southeast direction.
The British Antarctic Survey carried out geological surveys between 1985 and 1986. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the rock spur in 1988 after John Blyth (1923–1995), cook at Operation Tabarin in Port Lockroy (1943–1944) and in Hope Bay (1944–1945).
