Bożena Szydłowska

Bożena Szydłowska (born April 11, 1951 in Poznan ) is a Polish politician of the Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

Bożena Szydłowska began studying law at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan , later switched to the University of Business Administration and Banking in Poznan, from which she graduated with an administrative degree. She then worked in the finance department at Herbapol, Vitropak and Vitrocer, among others. In the 1990s she became a self-employed tax advisor. From 2002 to 2006, Bożena Szydłowska was a member of the Swarzędz City Council , and in 2006 she was elected mayor. In the early parliamentary elections in 2007 she stood for the Platforma Obywatelska in constituency 39 Poznań. She entered the Sejm with 12,309 votes . There she works in the commissions for public finance as well as justice and human rights.

Bożena Szydłowska is married and has one daughter.
