Božo Škerlj

Božo Škerlj (born September 28, 1904 in Vienna , † November 10, 1961 in Ljubljana ) was a Yugoslav anthropologist .

Life

Božo Škerlj studied biology and geography at the University of Ljubljana and received his doctorate in Prague in 1927 . In 1933 he became a private lecturer in physical anthropology at the University of Ljubljana. From 1936 to 1938 he was editor of the magazine Evgenika . From 1943 he was interned in the Dachau concentration camp . In 1946 he became associate professor, in 1953 full professor at the University of Ljubljana.
