Boane (District)
The Boane District is an administrative part of the Maputo Province in Mozambique .

Boane has a total area of 815 km². The district is located southwest of the state capital Maputo .
The capital of the district is Boane .
population
The district has 102,457 inhabitants ( 2007 census ). This corresponds to a population density of 124.9 inhabitants / km². Since the 1997 census, which found 56,703 inhabitants, the population has increased by 80.7%.
Administrative division
The district is divided into two Postos administrativos : Boane and Matola-Rio .
