Bob Burnquist

Bob Burnquist (born October 10, 1976 in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil ) is a professional skateboarder . He has won medals 25 times at the X Games , making him the most successful athlete in the X Games.

Career

Burnquist was born to a Swedish - American father and a Brazilian mother. In 1986 he started skating. He has been a successful skater in the scene for years and also won the first pro competition in which he took part. Bob has a unique style that is characterized by the fact that he often tends to change the position of the feet on the board (switch). In 2010 he made the 900 °. He is also the owner of Melodia and Burnquist Organics .

He recently combined his two hobbies (skating and skydiving) and shares his passion for megaramping with Danny Way. He says it's the perfect combination between the two sports. He also invented the Eggplant Revert , better known today as the Burntwist .

In July 2011 he won the gold medal at the X Games in Los Angeles and on June 30, 2013 at the X Games in Munich at the Big Air Contest.
