Bob Ferguson (lawyer)
Bob Ferguson (* 23. February 1965 in Seattle as Robert Watson Ferguson ) is an American lawyer and politician ( Democratic Party ). He has been the Attorney General of Washington State since 2013 . He graduated from the University of Washington .
He attracted media attention in 2017 when he sued the US President Donald Trump's entry ban ( Executive Order 13769 ) on behalf of Washington State and enforced an injunction.
He is married to Colleen Ferguson, with whom he has two children. Ferguson is also a strong chess player who won the Washington State Championship in 1984 and 1987.
