Robert "Bob" Hickey (born May 11, 1952 in Keene Valley , New York ) is a former American bobsleigh driver .
During his time at Keene Valley High School in New York, Hickey was active in soccer , baseball, and basketball . Later he switched to bobsleigh. In 1978 he became national champion in the two-man bobsleigh and North American runner-up. He also took part in the 1978 , 1979 and 1983 World Bobsleigh Championships . Hickey also managed to qualify for the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid . With his teammates Willie Davenport , Jeff Gadley and Jeff Jordan , he finished 12th in the four-man bobsleigh.
After his active career, Hickey worked as a tour guide in Keene .
