Robert Samuel "Bob" Lymburne (born July 30, 1909 in Fort William , † 1936 ) was a Canadian ski jumper .

Lymburne, whose parents moved to Revelstoke at an early age, started ski jumping at an early age. So he built his own jump on his parents' farm. He later started jumping on Mount Revelstoke, where he also jumped the Canadian record in 1933 and his personal best with 87.5 m. Before that, he reached 19th place from the normal hill at the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid . Shortly after the games he jumped a new ski flying world record on Nels Nelson Hill in Revelstoke with 82.0 m . This lasted almost a year until the Norwegian Sigmund Ruud surpassed him by two meters. In February 1935 he had a serious fall on his home hill and had to end his active ski jumping career.

In late 1935 or early 1936, Lymburne left his home for a mountain hike and never returned from there.
