Bob Paris

Robert Clark "Bob" Paris (born December 14, 1959 ) is an American bodybuilder , author and LGBT activist.

biography

Paris was born in the US state of Indiana . In high school he played football and started bodybuilding . He won various titles in his professional career as a bodybuilder and in 1983 he took the title of the World Amateur Bodybuilding Championships in heavyweight (over 90 pounds). Articles about Paris appeared in various sports magazines around the world (including Ironman magazine in 1989). After the end of his professional sports career, Paris wrote several books. Paris is openly gay and lived with Rod Jackson for several years . Paris currently lives in Vancouver , British Columbia . For many years Paris has been committed to the rights of LGBT people in the United States .
