Boccaccio 2020 is a film by Francisco Saia that is divided into six episodes. The film deals with the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy , inspired by Boccaccio's decameron .

2020. The world is devastated by the COVID-19 pandemic . In Italy the situation is worse than in other countries. The government has issued a decree prohibiting the population from leaving their homes. In a situation very similar to that described by Boccaccio in the Decameron, young people in Florence decide to break these laws and gather every evening in a town house and take turns telling grotesque stories. There are six stories.
