Bodo Wallbrecht

Bodo Wallbrecht († November 7, 1968 ) was a German civil engineer and entrepreneur.

Career

Wallbrecht was born as the son of the building contractor Wilhelm Wallbrecht. After training as a civil engineer, he joined his father's company in 1935 with his brother, the businessman Wilhelm Wallbrecht, and took over the management of the Hanover branch. In 1942 the father died and the two brothers took over the management of the company.

In addition, he held a leading position in various employers' and industry associations. He was chairman of the state association of employers' associations of Lower Saxony and chairman of the Association of the Construction Industry for Lower Saxony as well as a board member of the Main Association of the German Construction Industry . From 1963 to 1967 he was President of the Lower Saxony employers' associations .
