Bogusław Wontor

Bogusław Tadeusz Wontor (born September 29, 1967 in Słubice ) is a Polish politician and has been a member of the Sejm in the IV, V and VI since 2001 . Electoral term.

He finished his studies in 1998 at the Faculty of Basic Technical Research of the Technical University of Zielona Góra . Until 1999 he was a member of the Socjaldemokracja Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej (Social Democracy of the Republic of Poland - SdRP), then he joined the Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej (Federation of the Democratic Left - SLD). He is also a member of various sports associations, including since 1984 the national sports associations, the society for the support of physical culture, since 1990 he has been a member of the Academic Sports Association. Since 1983 he was active in the Polish Socialist Student Union.

From 1998 to 2001 he was a member of the Sejmik of the Lubuskie Voivodeship , where he was Deputy Chairman. From 2000 to 2001 he was President of the Union of Sports Federations of Lubuskie. Since 2004 he has headed the Polish Youth Sports Association.

In 2001 and 2005 he became a member of the Sejm for the constituency of Zielona Góra on the list of the SLD. In the parliamentary elections in 2007 he was re-elected to the Sejm with 11,658 votes from the list of Lewica i Demokraci (Left and Democrats - LiD). He is a member of the Sejm commissions for sport as well as education, science and youth.

Since April 22, 2008 he has been a member of the newly established Lewica parliamentary group .
