The Bohemia B-5 aircraft is a two-seat biplane .
development
The machine was designed by Oldřich Haller and built in the workshop of the “Bohemia” association founded for this purpose in Pilsen . The first flight of the machine took place on April 27, 1919 at the Bory airfield near Pilsen. It is the first ever aircraft from Czechoslovakian production. The hull and the surfaces were made of wood, which was covered with fabric. The wings were connected and braced with double I styles. The tail wheel landing gear was firm. The engine worked on a two-bladed wooden propeller . The machine did not prove to be a commercial success due to poor performance data. Part of the fuselage is in the Aviation Museum (Letecké Muzeum) in Prague-Kbely .
