Bohum Kunda (name variant: Sare Bohoum ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013, around 715 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 517.
geography
Bohum Kunda is located on the north bank of the Gambia River , in the Upper River Region , Wuli District . Bohum Kunda is around 5.8 kilometers north of Brifu , where the main road, the North Bank Road , runs towards the capital Banjul. Neighboring towns are Makamasireh in the west and Musa Kunda in the east , with which it is connected by a dirt road. To the north, the border with Senegal is only two kilometers away as the crow flies; but there is no official border crossing. It is around eight kilometers to the Gambia River, the main artery.
The Kusum Forest Park is ten miles south.
