The Boyana Glacier ( Bulgarian Ледник Бояна Lednik Bojana ) is a glacier on the south coast of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Tangra Mountains, it lies south of the Peshev Ridge and the Balchik Ridge . It flows 1.5 km east-northeast of Brunow Bay into the Bransfield Strait .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2002 after the village of Boyana , which is now a district of the Bulgarian capital Sofia .
