Renaturation
As part of the EU project 4th BA, station 5 + 555 - 6 + 500 , the upper Bokeler Au was redesigned to be natural over a length of 9.1 kilometers as part of the Rural Areas Future Program (ZPLR) between 1996 and 2013. The measure was intended in particular to improve the self-cleaning power of the water body.
