The Jevenau is a river flowing in an east-west direction in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district in the German state Schleswig-Holstein . The Jevenau is about 10 km long, it arises from the confluence of the Brammer Au and Bokeler Au east of Jevenstedt and flows into the Kiel Canal . The Kattbek is a tributary.

This left tributary of the Eider was cut off there with the construction of the Kiel Canal. The neighboring municipality of Jevenstedt, which belongs to the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district , is named after the river .
