Bolós Pharmacy (2008)

The Bolós pharmacy (in Catalan Farmàcia Bolós ; formerly Farmàcia Novellas ) is located in Barcelona in the Eixample district on Rambla de Catalunya No. 77.

The first owner, the pharmacist Antoni Novellas i Roig, had it designed by the architect Antoni de Falguera i Sivilla in 1902 and sold it to the Bolós family in 1927. The executive architect of the building was Josep Domènech i Estapà . The access door consists of three wooden panels with lead glass depicting a drawing of an orange tree. Inside, despite extensive renovations, the showcases, the mahogany bar, the murals on the ceilings and the modernist stained glass windows from the original period are in excellent condition.
