Bollevika ( Norwegian ; English Bolle Bay ) is a bay on the west coast of Bouvet Island . It is located on the southern flank of the Norvegiaodden headland .
The first rough mapping was carried out in 1898 by the German Valdivia expedition (1898–1899) under the direction of the zoologist and deep-sea researcher Carl Chun . A new mapping and naming took place in December 1927 during the Norvegia research voyage under Captain Harald Horntvedt (1879-1946).
